Registration Form for ISC’s Fall 2026 Session

Please be aware that, as much as we still have room for more members, we have already held our first rehearsal. You will need to do some catch-up work before our second rehearsal on March 7.

2. What contact information do you want published in the choir directory?

PLEASE NOTE: The choir directory is designed to include the name, address, phone, email, and section of our active members. It is available only through the password-protected Members page of the choir's website. It is organized in 3 ways to support your participation with the choir:

  1. By section, so you can get help from singers in your section to learn the music/get answers to your questions. You can connect one-on-one, or you can work together to organize local sectional rehearsals.
  2. By city, so you can arrange carpooling to/from rehearsals and/or concerts and find related overnight accommodations.
  3. By members’ first name, because that’s how we naturally seem to connect at rehearsals.

4. What part do you sing?

PLEASE NOTE: If you are new to singing in a choir, or it's been a while since you checked your vocal range (it can change as we age, like many other parts of our bodies 😣), we invite you to watch this video to help you decide which part is best suited for your voice.






5. How do you want to participate?



PLEASE NOTE:

  • We will accept up to 140 in-person singers for this session; there is no limit for online-only members.
  • Once we reach any in-person sectional limit, a waiting list will be created for that section.
  • Up to 100 in-person members from our last session were given the chance to register in advance. Never fear, there is still room in each section for you to register!

6. Do you need a CD of the rehearsal tracks for your part (at no cost)?


Please note: If you want to participate online only and also want a rehearsal CD, you will need to contact the Choir Manager directly to make suitable arrangements for pick-up. Rehearsal CDs are typically distributed only at in-person rehearsals.

7. Fees:

The member fee this session is $100; it is due NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 5.

  • Payment instructions will be provided when your registration is confirmed by the Choir Manager, including how to apply for a payment plan or bursary if you need help with paying your fee.
  • If you fail to pay your member fee by the deadline without making an alternate arrangement for payment, your place in the choir will be forfeited and may be offered to someone on the waiting list.
  • Once paid, your member fee is not refundable unless you are precluded from continuing to the end of the session due to a significant health issue or major unforeseen circumstance (either yourself or an immediate family member). In this case, we will refund the unused portion of your fee as of the date you advise us. Unused fees cannot be carried forward to a future session.

8. Safety plan for in-person participation:

  • Do NOT attend any rehearsal or the concert if you are feeling unwell; we ask that you attend rehearsals via Zoom instead.
  • Wearing a mask is a personal choice. Singer masks will be available at each rehearsal if you want one.

9. Registration:

By registering, you are committing to:

  • Attend (or view recordings of) all rehearsals, and learn and practise the music between rehearsals, so that you are ready to perform in our concert.
  • Observe the protocols of our safety plan while attending all in-person rehearsals and/or the concert.
  • Abide by the policies and practices outlined in our Member Handbook.
  • Allow the choir to use any photos or videos taken during our rehearsals and concerts in order to promote the choir's activities.
